Production Simulation: A Benchmark for Planning Under Constraints
We built a turn-based factory simulation to test how language models plan under interacting constraints. Across 200 solvable scenarios and 1,000 rollouts per model, both frontier models scored about a third of what was achievable — and spending more tokens correlated with worse outcomes.
